Data compiled by the "Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), Athens" and provided to the OECD by Eurostat.
These national accounts estimates are compiled according to the ESA 2010 (“European System of Accounts 2010”), which is based on and is broadly consistent with the 2008 SNA (“System of National Accounts 2008”, Commission of the European Communities - Eurostat, International Monetary Fund, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations and World Bank, 2009). The ESA 2010 has been implemented in November 2014.
The financial intermediation services indirectly measured (FISIM) are allocated to industries and institutional sectors.
Methodological changes have been applied to data from 2020-Q1 at the occasion of the December 2020 benchmark revision. These methodological changes still need to be incorporated to back data. Therefore there is a break in data in 2010-Q1. Furthermore, volume data (seasonally adjusted) before 2010 is still based on the old reference year 2010.
Chain indices are used for calculating volume changes and the resulting chained volume estimates are not additive.
