These national accounts estimates are compiled according to the 2008 SNA ('System of National Accounts 2008', Commission of the European Communities-Eurostat, International Monetary Fund, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations and World Bank, 2009).

The new ruble was introduced on 01 january 1998 with one new rubble equalling 1000 old rubles.
Therefore In national currency, data before 1998 are expressed in billions of old rubles whereas data from 1998 are expressed in millions of new rubles.

PPP of GDP for Russia in 2021 is estimated by the OECD by extrapolating PPP of GDP in 2020 with GDP deflator calculated from data published in June 2022 in the OECD Economic Outlook while PPP of Actual Individual Consumption (AIC) in 2021 is estimated by the OECD by extrapolating PPP of AIC in 2020 with the Consumer Price index (all items)

The financial intermediation services indirectly measured (FISIM) are allocated to industries and institutional sectors.
Original chain constant price estimates are referenced to 2016.
Industries data present a break between 2001 and 2002, as Russian Federation adopted in 2002 the NACE classification instead of the Russian classification of economic activities (OKONH) .
This statistical data is supplied by and under the responsibility of the relevant statistical authorities. The use of such data by the OECD is without prejudice to the status of or sovereignty over any territory, or to the delimitation of international frontiers and boundaries.
