These national accounts estimates are compiled according to the 2008 SNA ('System of National Accounts 2008', Commission of the European Communities-Eurostat, International Monetary Fund, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations and World Bank, 2009).
On 01 January 2005 the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye has introduced the New Turkish Lira to replace the Turkish Lira. One New Turkish Lira is equivalent to one million Turkish Lira.
