CRS Grant EquivalentAbstract

The objective of the CRS Aid Activity database is to provide a set of readily available basic data that enables analysis on where aid goes, what purposes it serves and what policies it aims to implement, on a comparable basis for all DAC members. Data are collected on individual projects and programmes. Focus is on financial data but some descriptive information is also made available.
In 2019, the grant equivalent system became the standard for measuring ODA, although data on the grant equivalent measure were collected and published during a transition period from 2016 to 2018. CRS data are presented here on a grant equivalent basis for bilateral ODA beginning in 2018. For the transition period, data are for ODA loans only.
Data on actual flows (i.e. disbursements and loan repayments) continue to be collected and published to ensure transparency (see "CRS data" link below ).
