EXPERIMENTAL STATISTICS: Distributional information on household income, consumption and savingAbstract

The OECD's dataset on distributional information on household income, consumption and saving presents experimental distributional results for a range of OECD countries. The dataset resulted from the work of the Expert Group on Distributional information on household income, consumption, and saving (EG DNA), which defined an internationally comparable methodology to produce measures of disparities that are consistent with national accounts concepts and totals using existing micro data sources. The template and guidelines can be obtained here. Results have been provided by countries participating in the EG DNA, as well as by Eurostat (for a selection of items) for EU countries that are not participating in the exercise (or did not provide results for a specific reference year). More information on the specific methodology as applied by Eurostat, including a link to results from sensitivity analyses accompanying their results, are available via the following link.
