This dataset contains the main results of the 2017 Eurostat-OECD PPP comparison for the 49 countries that participated in the 2017 round of the Eurostat-OECD Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) Programme. Colombia and Costa Rica participated for the first time. Please note that time series for PPPs for GDP, actual individual consumption and household final consumption for these two countries in the National Accounts databases are still based on the 2011 ICP results until April 2020 (release of ICP 2017 results).
The dataset is organised in 23 tables which show results both in US dollars and OECD as reference (Table 1.1 to Table 1.12) and in euros and European Union as reference (Table 2.1 to Table 2.11) calculated with the EKS method. The tables contain the following information:
Data for the 37 European countries were compiled by Eurostat and results can be found at the following address:

The detailed benchmark results are published every three years. The last benchmark year is 2017 and data are available in the dataset "2017 PPP Benchmark results". The next benchmark year will be 2020 and first results will be released early 2023 and final results early 2024.

The PPP results presented here have been calculated following a methodology agreed by Eurostat and the OECD. All detailed information can be found in the Eurostat-OECD Methodological Manual on Purchasing Power Parities.
