As from spring 2014, Korean national accounts estimates are compiled according to the 2008 SNA ('System of National Accounts 2008', Commission of the European Communities-Eurostat, International Monetary Fund, Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, United Nations and World Bank, 2009).

Revised series shown here have been linked backwards with former series to obtain time series without break.

The financial intermediation services indirectly measured (FISIM) are allocated to industries and institutional sectors.

The detailed industries data present a break between 2008 and 2009 as the Bank of Korea adopted the KSIC-9 classification.

Original chain constant price estimates are referenced to 2010.
