Information for this dataset is no longer updated. Historical population data can be found in the dataset “Historical population data” here. Vital statistics figures were collected by the OECD from national statistics offices, Eurostat and the United Nations. Please note that, as an alternative, other data on demographic events are available from the United Nations database: https://esa.un.org/unpd/wpp/.
