AGGREGATE (DATA)

Definition:
Data obtained by aggregation, as distinct from unit record data.

Context:
In the context of PPPs an aggregate is also a set of transactions relating to a specified flow of goods and services in a given period, such as the total purchases made by resident households on consumer goods and services or the total expenditure by government on collective services or the total value of gross fixed capital formation.

The term “aggregate” is also used to mean the value of the specified set of transactions.
